I am a faculty member of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, where I teach courses like Signals and Systems, Discrete Time Signal Processing and Estimation Theory. My research interests are in the broad area of statistical signal processing, with special interest in biomedical signals, such as EEG. I have also done research and field work in image processing, pattern recognition, and deep learning. A list of my research publications and teaching can be found on this page. I obtained my Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in biomedical engineering and my B.Sc. in electrical engineering, all from Shiraz University.
